Fukushima contribution

My contribution to our leporello project. This is one version to use as last page with all the names of the contributors. I will play some more with the colors in a version that has the title on it, which can be used as cover of the Leporello. greetz, Leen

fukushima threat

The first part of my drawing for the silkscreen poster is done, it will be interpreted with a more graphic approach.

Some kind of explosion should be added, I'll see in which way it can work graphically.

The feeling of helplessness despite high technical standarts, the loss of control, are touching me and are a motivation for the image.

I'm curious about the other artists work!

Little Buddha

At the last days I did the drawing for our new silkskreen-project "Wolke über Hanami". I decided to concentrate on a timeless scenery, showing some homeless people, refugees sittin around a warm meal.

Here are three color sketches. At this moment I prefer the second one...

New Website

Hey together,

I‘m happy to say that my new site "dieter jüdt - illustration“ is now online. You can find a lot of current work at the blog section, all time favourites at „Portfolio“, not to forget some illustrated books and comic work (now called „Comix“) there.

Thanks a lot to Andi Hofer for support and programming!

Greetings, Dieter

Festival Poster

Hi,
I made a poster for a small festival in Borsbeek (Antwerp), that will take place in June. The herb that appear in the poster, has a special meaning for the neighbourhood where the festival will take place. The musicians will be the main act on the festival. Also a long time ago I used no handwritten typography.

The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms

I think the coolest monster creations I've seen so far are the ones by Ray Harryhausen

I have the feeling that the main work for the book is ready, I hope I can do it for Frankfurt Bookfair.
